16386. Sir William ASSENHULL30,36 was also known as HARPENDEN.37 He died early 1443.38 Sir William ASSENHULL was Usher of the King's Chamber. He was previously known as William HARPENDEN. By his marriage to Joan de BURGH he acquired the de BURGH estates. [sources: Lord Everingham & J. W. Walker] Sir William ASSENHULL and Joan de BURGH were married in 1404.39
