Mary MORE was the youngest daughter of Christopher Cressacre MORE of Barnborough. She was the seventh in descent from Sir (Saint) Thomas More.
"Blessed Thomas, the martyred chancellor". (From The Catholic Encyclopaedia).

J.W. Walker refers to her as Mary Cresacre More and that she was sixth in line from Thomas More (page 103). The spelling of Mary Cressacre-More with two "S" is from Lord Everingham of Laxton (6).
