Christopher Cresacre MORE^8,9 was born on 1 Apr 1661 in Gobions, North Mimms, Hertfordshire, England.⁸ He was baptized on 7 Apr 1661 in St. Mary's, North Mimms, Hertfordshire, England.⁸ He was buried on 25 Apr 1729 in Parish Church of St. Peter, Barnburgh, Yorkshire West Riding, England.⁸ He died in 1728/29.¹¹ Mary WATERTON (née MORE). Mary's father was Christopher Cresacre MORE - the 4th son of Basil MORE (c.1638-1702) and Anne HUMBLE (1640-1694).

Christopher was baptised with 'Christopher Cresacre' as his first names and the surname 'MORE'. He seems sometimes to have been called 'Christopher' and sometimes 'Christopher Cresacre', but in the documents I have seen he always signed himself 'Christopher Cresacre'.
