This chart shows the ancestral links between the Burghs of Cambridgeshire and Yorkshire and the Watertons of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. By her marriage, Constance Assenhull carried the estates of Walton and Cawthorne to Richard de Waterton. These estates had come down to Constance from the Burghs through her mother, Joan.
